Linda E Wyman-Collins
Linda E. Wyman-Collins BSN, RNC-NIC [aka,Lew]
Lew was instrumental in starting the HFA’s first women’s program Focus on the Feminine and then later was chair of Blood Sisterhood. She has served on numerous boards of directors and national boards for organizations involved in the education and advocacy of those affected by bleeding and clotting disorders.
As a recipient National Frist Humanitarian Award awarded by the Hospital Corporation of America’s Medical City Lewisville and with over thirty years experience lobbying on the state and national level on issues concerning the bleeding disorders community, Lew states: Diagnosis should be based on factor levels, and symptoms, not on gender – Let’s see timely diagnosis and proper treatment for women.
FAIR Time for Women is building a grassroots movement to advance equitable access to diagnosis, care and treatment for women and girls and those assigned female at birth, with bleeding disorders such as hemophilia, VWD and others.
